It is an Association of Active and Former Marines.
This Detachment was Chartered on 08 October 1946
and has been active on Staten Island
and in public as well as Veterans affairs since.
This program helps Marines coming home get adjusted back to the civilian world.

who proudly wear or who have worn the
EAGLE, GLOBE and ANCHOR.
Active Duty Marine? A former Marine? Served at least 90 days of active duty
and hold an Honorable Discharge? U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsmen who served in Marine Corps FMF units?

You must be a MCL Member in good standing for 5 years to qualify.
On 06 December 2008 Pound Salt 69 donated 4 Trikes to handicapped children. The Ceremony took place at 1300 hours at the Detachment. Click on picture.
The Program donates Trikes to handicapped children.
