Membership Meetings start at 2030hrs, except for the months of July and August when they are held at 2000hrs, outside in our pavilion. Membership meetings are always conducted on the Staff Meetings No Staff Meetings held in July or August. Members enjoy fellowship together before and after the meeting. On average, our detachment opens at 1200 till 2200 almost every night. Members are permitted to bring guests to the bar. No guests are permitted into the meetings and our Marine Corps Birthday Party. Spouses of deceased members are permitted to all MCL Detachment functions free of charge except the Detachment meetings and our Marine Corps Birthday Party.
The Detachment publication is "The WORD"
which is mailed out four times a year and is edited by Marine Members also receive the state publication and national magazine. ROSE PROGRAM
This program provides funds for detachments to assist veterans and youth and provide other services to the community. For example: Health and comfort items for hospitalized veterans, support programs such as bingo or holiday parties for hospitalized or retired veterans in retirement homes, scholarships, assist youth programs and humanitarian aid. The program is a huge sucess and MORE MANPOWER IS NEEDED. PLEASE step up to the plate on this. It really is for a great cause. For information on this program contact Marine
