The Marine Corps League was incorporated by an act of Congress in 1937.
It is an Association of Active and Former Marines.
This Detachment was Chartered on 08 October 1946
and has been active on Staten Island
and in public as well as Veterans affairs since.

The Marine Corps League perpetuates the traditions and spirit of
ALL MARINES
who proudly wear or who have worn the
EAGLE, GLOBE and ANCHOR.
Active Duty Marine? A former Marine? Served at least 90 days of active duty
and hold an Honorable Discharge? U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsmen who served in Marine Corps FMF units?
Stop by and see what we are all about.
Meet other Marines,
swap stories and enjoy the fellowship of our members,
then JOIN UP. An application link is provided below by Uncle Sam.
 We promise, NO BOOT CAMP.

Meetings are the first and third Mondays of the month at 2000hrs.

S.I. Detachment 246 Scholarship Program.

The scholarship is for Members, Associate Members, their kids and grand kids only.
You must be a MCL Member in good standing for 5 years to qualify.
